The fact that he lost to Chiam See Tong indicates a little 'black star' has been printed next to his name on the Ruling Party candidate list, compared to his other 'faultless ' peers standing in parliament who got 'elected' without hiccups.

Icemoon SG Haiz .. but LKY is really healthy for his age. You can't deny that. OT a little .. sometimes we can't help but respect the opposition. How the hell did Chiam become a teacher and lawyer with his O level cert?? And how did Ling How Doong become lawyer .. I thought he was police inspector last time?? In contrast, I think PAP candidates are scholars who have it easier.
